"On May 9, 2023, Aaj TV’s DSNG was attcaked by the violent mob of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) after the illegal arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan in Peshawar. Aaj TV Peshawar Bureau Chief Farzana Ali told PPF that a DSNG van of Aaj TV had been attacked by protestors, as a result of which the windscreen of the van was broken. Ali said that, fortunately, the van driver and reporters had remained safe."
