"On 13 April 2021, In Multan, 92 News channels reporter Muhammad Asif was beaten up by police in Multan city of Punjab province for trying to cover the Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) public protest.
Muhammad Asif told PPF that yes police beat him and snatched his camera but matter was resolved at that time he don’t want to talk regarding the matter and don’t want to peruse the matter further.
On Apr 18, 21 Shakeel Anjum president of Multan Press Club told PPF that one police constable snatched his phone and return back that time and said verbal apology to the journalist. No FIR was filed regarding the case.
On Apr 18, 21 Mr. Sazeel, bureau chief told PPF that police constable snatched his phone but returned when I and President Press club involved in the matter. They also said verbal apology to us. "
