Summary of Case

On Dec 12, 2020 unidentified men attacked and injured ARY News anchor Iqrar ul Hassan in Karachi.

ARY News reported that the assailants fired at his vehicle before physically attacking him in front of K Block Police Station. Hassan sustained injuries to his face and body. The attackers soon fled.

Police have reportedly made a few arrests and looking for others involved in the attack.

Just a day after the unfortunate incident, the 36-year-old sat down with Daily Pakistan to share details of what actually happened with him.

Talking to DP anchor Yasir Shami, Hassan said he has forgiven the attackers since they are young boys and may have a bright future ahead.
