"On 3 April 2021, 7 News channel reporter Shahid Khan was threatened verbally for his report about nurses in Dera Ghazi Khan District in Punjab province not attending patients. The journalist said his report showed nurses disregarding the patients instead busy in mehndi. He said the report angered the administration and one Malik Abbas visited his office to threaten him verbally saying: “You would be killed at our hands.” The journalist lodged a complaint against the man but local police did not move against him. President of Dera Ghazi Khan Press Club Mr. bakht Muhammad Khosa told PPF that the incident was happened and we strongly condemn it but the matter was resolved between both parties as Malik abbas apologized with Shahid Khan. Mr. Shahid told PPF that I gave application to Police Station but when Mr. Malik came and apologized to my office I didn’t file the FIR. The matter was resolved between us. Bureau Chief Akhtar Ali Gujjar denied to give his version. "
