"ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory (PEMRA) issued notices to several news channels for ‘irresponsible coverage’ of the terrorist attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi.
The regulator served notices on ARY, Geo, Express-News, Dawn News, BOL, Such, GNN, Abb Takk, Capital, GTV, Dunya News and Channel 24.
""Channels have been asked to respond within 7 days, failing which legal action under PEMRA law shall be initiated,” PEMRA said.
All four terrorists who stormed the building were killed. One sub-inspector and three security guards were martyred.
