"On 14 April, 2021 ARY News reporter Mr. Qamar Butt in Faisalabad was beaten by activists of the religio-political party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) protestors.
It is to be mentioned here that the activists of a religious group have staged sit-ins at various points in several cities for the past three days across the country.
On 20 Apr, 2021 Mr Qamar Butt told PPF that matter resolved between us as TLP leaders said verbal apology to me as well as no legal proceedings done regarding the incident."
